I was very excited by the potential for ground-breaking technologies in digital printing at TTP. I knew about TTP’s immense reputation for developing excellent products and disruptive technologies and especially its commitment to incubating the developments seriously – the company has world-class ability and experience in bringing new technology to market.

I joined in late 2001, originally doing business development for the inkjet technologies and then managing that activity. Now I manage part of the overall business in that field.

I believe the key attraction for people joining TTP, especially at earlier stages of their careers, is the opportunity to see a more rounded view of how technologies are developed (technical), what it takes to get the funding for them (sales and marketing), the issues in achieving agreements with collaborative companies (legal and contractual matters) and the roll-out requirements of the first products (product engineering and development).

Because of this, people at TTP can become ready to take on senior roles earlier than they might elsewhere.
