The explosive growth in communications technology, with its continually shortening product life-cycles, demands that new products are developed in timescales which were, until recently, considered unachievable. printer-friendly page   In a major multi-site programme, TTP developed an integral ‘set-top box’ to provide state-of-the-art on-demand digital movies and programming, a jukebox service, high speed internet access and other services to hotel guests via an IP-based xDSL network.     TTP has developed a low-cost, low-power receiver module for DAB digital radio to enable the delivery of high quality audio and high-rate data services.     TTP developed the VHF radio modem which is used for the transmission of road traffic data over Vodafone’s Paknet radio service. TTP developed smartphone and media player hardware and software for the BT LIvetime DAB enabled devices.  This allows users to receive broadcast TV and DAB digital radio on their mobile handsets using DAB technology.
