Systems Specialist - Medical Technologies Group (MT6)

TTP is seeking an experienced systems specialist, with proven embedded software and medical product development experience The successful candidate will be expected to work in multidisciplinary project teams of scientists and engineers, contributing at all stages of medical device development, ranging from feasibility system design through to regulatory approval. 

You will be expected to:

• Support medical device development projects with embedded systems and software.
• Integrate the latest sensor and actuator technologies with software-driven platforms, including microcontrollers, microprocessors and DSP’s.
• Handle multiple development programmes in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary environment.
• Deliver systems, code and documentation to regulatory standards. 
• Present work to managers and clients.

You will have:

• A 1st or 2.1 class degree in physical sciences/engineering, preferably with post graduate qualifications.
• High level of experience of developing embedded systems for medical devices including US/EU regulatory submissions.
• Broad knowledge and experience in embedded systems and software.
• Experience with all aspects of the software lifecycle. 
• A strong level of ability in coding with C/C++.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of new sensor and actuator technologies.
• Matlab based system modelling.
• Experience working with UML specification and design.
• Experience with RTOS and other operating systems.
