Exploiting TTP’s expertise in areas ranging from laser physics, hydrodynamics, thermal design and optics to electronic controls and electro mechanics, we have developed technologies and processes in laser micromachining and applied them to a variety of development activities.
Through development of novel machining systems and control systems, we have been able to harness the unique properties of lasers for precise micromachining of micron and sub-micron features. Applications – from healthcare products to the display industry – include hydrodynamically efficient nozzles, microlens arrays and friction-reducing structures.
We have taken advanced laser and LED technology and applied it in new fields – for printing, marking, medical diagnostics and electro photographic processes, for example. Our broad experience and open-minded approach, where we work across the boundaries of scientific and engineering disciplines, means we are well placed to drive and focus new developments and extend the range of applications further.
