Laser and LED (light emitting diode) technologies are advancing rapidly and TTP is at the forefront of their exploitation for a range of products from consumer products such as displays through to industrial micro-fabrication systems. In addition, TTP is leading the way in developing new processes that employ lasers such as micromachining for advanced manufacturing.

Because our skill sets include optical systems, semiconductor devices, thermal management, electronic control, electromechanics and packaging techniques – and because we work in multidisciplinary teams – we are able to develop innovative technologies and products based on the latest solid-state and semiconductor lasers and LEDs, including the next generation high density laser and LED arrays.

Industrial laser systems developed by TTP include high throughput pharmaceutical processing systems, high-speed micro-machining systems for medical inhaler fabrication and at-line industrial laser coding for product identification applications.

Consumer and healthcare products developed by TTP include LED and laser based display technology, automotive vision systems and point of care diagnostics.
