6 Month Electronics Engineering Placement

Description

Are you studying electronics engineering and looking for an internship that will enable you to apply your degree practically on a variety of different types of technology? If so, then our 6-month placement is the perfect opportunity for you!

Electronics engineering is an important skill set that is used in most of the projects we work on, so you could find yourself working on anything from implantable medical devices, to drones and autonomous technologies.

TTP is an independent technology company where scientists and engineers collaborate to invent, design and develop new products and technologies. We work with the world’s most ambitious companies to address diverse, deep technology problems that enable advanced products which make a difference to people’s lives.

An internship at TTP presents the opportunity to join us for a six-month period, gaining an insight into life within a technical consultancy. You will contribute to exciting live client and internal TTP projects to get hands-on, practical experience and learn more about what a career in innovative technology and product development can offer.

As TTP is a multi-disciplinary environment, you will work alongside talented people from a wide range of academic backgrounds – from biologists, to engineers, to physicists – getting to learn from them, whilst also making your own mark on projects.

We are looking for students who are ready to create their own opportunities within TTP. You will be encouraged to participate in all areas of the work we do, including time in the lab, joining team meetings and interacting with our clients; experiencing the day-to-day reality of a career with one of Europe’s leading technology businesses.

Please Note: We encourage you to apply as early as possible as we review applications on a rolling basis.

When considering applications, we are looking for individuals with the following traits:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Electronics Engineering.
  • Must have completed at least 2 years of study by the time of the start of your internship (so students at the beginning of second year are very welcome to apply)

But we continuously strive to do better, and we fundamentally believe in the power and importance of diversity – both for our community and for the overall success of our business.

We, therefore, encourage applications from all individuals. Whatever your background, whatever your identity: we would love to hear from you.
