Mechanical Engineer Consultant – Energy & Materials
As a Mechanical Engineer, you can bring your drive, enthusiasm and expertise to TTP and work on a range of exciting projects as part of our Energy & Materials team. The team is working on a broad range of energy transition assignments for clients, for example, in the development of green hydrogen, ammonia production, carbon capture processes, material deposition, developing novel technologies and industrial systems, and process design.
Our ambition is to grow the business rapidly, to engage with corporate clients and technology start-ups, to leverage our multi-disciplinary science, technology, and engineering skillset, to help those clients respond to the global challenges of net-zero, sustainability, and the energy transition.
As a consultant at TTP, you will work on a range of engineering challenges, using your solid grounding in scientific and first-principles engineering knowledge to identify and develop solutions to real-world problems across a range of industries. This will involve a mix of creative ideas-generation, analysis, modelling, design and problem solving, as well as hands-on experimental work, taking your ideas from the lab to pilot scale testing. You will also enjoy using this growing knowledge base to explore new business opportunities and in the creation of value for our clients and for TTP.
With superb facilities, training and the freedom to innovate, your future at TTP is what you make it. We value ambition, leadership and technical excellence and we provide a fantastic environment to develop your career.
We welcome applications from highly creative Mechanical Engineers with a desire to move into a fast-paced environment who can offer a track record of achievement and strong academic performance. You will have the opportunity to apply your skills across the entire development lifecycle, from concept to realisation. Knowledge of finite element analysis, FMEA and technical risk analysis would be an advantage.
An in-depth interview process will explore your ability to apply and communicate the first principles of mechanical engineering to resolve a broad range of real-world problems.
We would like to hear about your collaborative, analytical and structured approach to tackling complex technical challenges in your application.
