Joining as an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by qualifying leads to identify new sales opportunities and reaching out to these potential clients to understand their needs, answering any questions, and resolving their concerns through providing additional information via calls and emails.

At Cellular Highways, we are on a mission to improve cell sorting based on cutting-edge technology, making it accessible to every laboratory as well as enable new clinical applications. Our first product is an automated high-throughput sterile cell sorter for cell therapies. With our ambitious business growth plans there will be plenty of scope for development in this role too.

What you will be doing:

  • Initiate lead generation via commercial database, web searches, social media, trade events, and campaigns.
  • Qualifying leads to identify new sales opportunities using outbound emails, calls and lead follow-ups (knowledge of BANT helpful but not essential).
  • Transfer potential lead opportunities to the relevant field sales team.
  • Updating and maintaining the database of different leads that you have found and secured.
  • Explaining and demonstrating the basic functions and features of our products and services.

This opportunity is available to individuals who possess a strong enthusiasm for science and familiarity with flow cytometry and are now seeking their initial exposure to a commercial role. Alternatively, candidates with prior experience in lead generation or sales, coupled with a genuine passion for science, will also be taken into consideration for this position.

Requirements

Skills, qualifications, or experience required:

  • A good understanding of cell biology/cytometry (especially cell sorting) at least at undergraduate level, or with equivalent laboratory experience. Some hands-on experience in cytometry is highly preferred.
  • While previous inside sales experience a plus, it is not a requirement.
  • Confident phone presence and comfortable with cold calling.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM is beneficial although not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • A passion to develop a career in the life science & biotech industry (we are a rapidly growing company with many opportunities to advance).

There’ll be a couple of stages to your interview

There are two stages to our interview process for graduates, and one stage for interns. For both of those roles, there are usually a number of one-to-one interviews with our consultants. We focus on your technical abilities and consumer awareness and use our interviews to see how you’d fit into TTP.

We hold our interviews at TTP Campus in Melbourn

On the outskirts of Cambridge. The interview process is usually around a couple of hours and it’ll include technical problem-solving style questions.

We’ll cover expenses for your interview

Which includes cost of your return travel to the interview. If you need to stay overnight in Melbourn, let us know in advance and we can organise something.

After the interviews, you’ll hear back from us in a few days

It’ll normally take a few weeks to finish the interviews, but this can sometimes take a little longer depending on how busy we are.

If you fit the criteria, we can cover relocation costs up to £20,000

But before you start, we’ll discuss this together to see if you fit the criteria.
