Join us as an Assembly Technician and you’ll get to build, improve, and get involved in the R+D of our current and next generation beverage can printing machines. They’re are designed from scratch - just like the artwork that appears on our craft beer cans. No one has done digital printing quite like us before and it’s improving all the time – so you’ll get to make a meaningful contribution from day one.
You’ll be joining us as we journey into the next stage of scaling up - creating new machines for customers in the UK, Canada and the USA. It’s interesting, innovative, and technically challenging work. The plan is to more than double production over the next 5 years.

On any given day, you’ll get to build mechanical assemblies in accordance with mechanical drawings, as well as devices, machinery, jigs and fixtures. You’ll also have opportunities to help debug and mechanical operations working closely with our engineers and colleagues in the build team. You’ll be in a critical role as Tonejet is entering an exciting new scale-up phase.
If you enjoy precise and dextrous tasks, this is the role for you as you’ll be using hand tools and putting together precision assemblies. As a skilled technician, you’ll get to work with our friendly and supportive Mechanical and Electrical Manufacturing and Development teams. Together, we’ll create the current and next-generation Tonejet printing machines.
The role offers both variety and opportunities to learn new skills. The goal is to grow a team of multi-skilled individuals with a high level of technical capability. Your career and professional development will never stand still at Tonejet.
You’ll be guided by supportive colleagues and clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) - so you’ll soon pick up the process. And whenever you have an idea about how to improve a procedure or find an efficiency; we want to hear it – from the get-go, you’ll be a valued member of the team.
Tonejet operates a lean manufacturing environment so if you have a working knowledge of 1-piece flow, Kanban, 5S, or Kaizen; you’ll get to use it here.
