Technical Project Leader – Diagnostics

The Diagnostics team at TTP develops cutting-edge diagnostic solutions, making high-performance testing more accessible. Partnering with both start-ups and world-leading diagnostics companies, our team of engineers, biologists, chemists and physicists bring innovative products to market.
We’re looking for an experienced, client-facing, Technical Project Leader to spearhead our technically challenging, multi-phase product development projects. You’ll play a key role in both securing and managing complex projects, often starting at concept and prototype development, scaling into product development and then support of transfer to volume production. Leading projects at TTP is a truly rewarding experience; it’s your project – and you’re empowered to deliver. You’ll drive technical collaboration, project team engagement, and client relationships.
This is a hands-on opportunity to work on projects across a full range of fundamental technologies, including immunoassay, molecular, diagnostic microbiology, tissue diagnostics and more. Our expertise spans from central lab to point of care systems with a world leading capability in translating complex biology to user-friendly devices.
Lastly, your experience working within Diagnostics will have given you deep market and technology insight and will enable you to uncover valuable new business opportunities and even new areas of technology.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who can independently lead large, multi-disciplinary project teams, working at the interface of biology and engineering.
You’re:
- A technical specialist in the Diagnostics field.
- Able to lead and shape high-pressure and always evolving projects.
- Able to act as coach, advisor, interpreter, advocate and confidant for the client.
We expect you’ll bring:
- Experience leading complex technical projectsin the diagnostics field.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Business development expertise or experience of developing customer relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- An excellent academic record with a degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
