Process Development Consultant - Cell & Gene

Our Life Sciences unit works at the intersection of biology, physical science and engineering we invent, design and manufacture products and technologies in areas including (but not limited to) cell therapies, point of care diagnostics, high-throughput drug discovery, molecular detection and cancer screening.

Multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and designers collaboratively solve commercially-driven problems, deploying fundamental science in creating disruptive technologies. We realise the most ambitious challenges set by our clients; global market leaders, as well as exciting technology start- and scale ups.

We are looking to add to our growing activity in the Cell & Gene Therapy space, by hiring an experienced Process Development Consultant. This role will allow you to interact with a wide range of companies supporting the commercialization of these therapies, developing enabling technologies and innovative solutions for our clients. If you enjoy the challenge of refining and improving complex biopharmaceutical processes, you would be an excellent fit for this role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues at the interface of biology and engineering, for instance in developing bioprocessing equipment, integrating novel process analytics, and solving purification and filtration challenges. You will provide thought leadership for TTP in client engagements, contribute technical cell and gene therapy insight to projects, and help steer the overall direction of our work in this area.   • An strongacademic record in the Biological Sciences or relevant Engineering discipline to PhD level
  • Hands-on commercial experience in translational research or instrument development for cell & gene technologies
  • An ability to work collaboratively and potentially lead interdisciplinary teams, with excellent communication skills
  • Practical understanding of the regulatory requirements for biological product manufacturing / GMP
