We have hundreds of new customers evaluating our technology, as a result, our order book is growing fast – so we’re scaling up our production capabilities at a rapid pace. That’s where you fit in.
We’re looking for a careful and reliable person to join our production team. You will be entrusted to operate our production equipment, responsible for assembling and testing our innovative micropumps.
You will use high precision automated assembly equipment to carry out a range of production processes, including laser machining and laser welding. The manufacturing stations—which are generally bespoke PLC-controlled systems—include robotic automation and machine vision.
Following training you will set up and operate this equipment in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs), also recording product details and monitoring line performance. The tasks covered by the role are varied, and will include high precision/detailed operations, as well as some repetitive loading/unloading of the main pump production line.
You will also carry out other production activities, which may include performing incoming quality inspections, carrying out preventative maintenance on our production machines, and packing and shipping products to new and existing customers. Again, full training will be provided.

The Engineering team will also appreciate your input as they maintain and develop the production equipment. You will also interact regularly with the Quality team to ensure that quality is at the heart of all production operations.
Your skills will include:
- Previous experience in a production or Lab environment
- Experience working with and achieving Key Performance Indicators.
- Being careful and methodical, taking pride in your work
- Good manual dexterity
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- The ability to follow documented processes
- The willingness to raise quality concerns or improvement opportunities
Any of the following experience will be an advantage:
- Operating automated and/or high-precision machinery
- Using microscopes, callipers, balances, and other measurement equipment
- Working in a quality-controlled production environment
- Responsibility for completing production paperwork.
