Summer Internship 2023

  • Location
    Cambridge, United Kingdom

Description

Are you looking for a memorable summer that will lay the foundations to your future career? If so, consider applying to TTP, because our internship is not only about kickstarting your career, but also about learning from experts passionate about their work and making life-long friends along the way.

Here at The Technology Partnership (TTP), we pride ourselves on being an independent technology company where scientists and engineers collaborate to invent, design, and develop the next generation of products and technologies. We work with the world’s most ambitious companies to address diverse, deep technology problems to create products which make a difference to people’s lives.

During this internship, you will contribute to exciting live client and internal TTP projects to get hands-on, practical experience and learn more about what a career in innovative technology and product development can offer. As TTP is a multi-disciplinary environment, you will work alongside talented people from a wide range of academic STEM backgrounds – from biologists, to engineers, to physicists – getting to learn from them, whilst also making your own mark on projects.

We are looking for STEM students who like variety and are ready to create their own opportunities within TTP. You will have the chance to participate in all areas of the work we do, including time in the lab, joining team meetings, and interacting with our clients.

The length of this internship can be flexible according to individual circumstances, but we do ask for a commitment of a minimum of nine weeks.

We encourage you to apply as early as possible as we review applications on a rolling basis.

  • Must have completed at least 2 years of study by the time of the start of your internship (so students at the beginning of second year are very welcome to apply)
  • Enthusiastic and curious in nature. We want people who love to learn and get to the heart of a problem – and who do so enthusiastically!
  • Experience of prior internships or extracurriculars applying your degree are desirable but not essential.

Diversity Statement:

Our business revolves around collaborating with one another to tackle genuinely hard problems. Equality and diversity in the workplace are some of the most challenging problems facing society.
