As a TTP Test Engineer, you will be working in the Satellite and Space team on a number of exciting satcom projects. You will be a key member of the engineering team.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your engineering skills across a range of disciplines. You will have experience of testing RF products using standard RF test equipment (spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes etc) but you will be flexible in your approach and be able to apply your skills to digital circuits, software and system testing as required.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • test execution, to include RF tests (bench and anechoic chamber), digital circuit, software tests and system tests
  • writing test plans based on requirements and specification documents
  • management and execution of automated test benches using Python
  • RF and digital circuit fault finding


Relevant skills and experience:

  • Experience of using RF test equipment such as Spectrum/network Analyser, Signal generator, RF Power and cellular test equipment
  • Ability to design or maintain automated test systems using Python
  • Digital circuit testing and fault finding
  • Test and debug of RF applications (filters, amplifiers, etc)
  • Experience of antenna test and characterisation
  • Test experience with Satcom terminals
  • Knowledge of ETSI, FCC, DO-160
  • SMD soldering
  • Experience with lifecycle management tools (eg: Jira, Polarion)
  • Hands-on and practical with the ability to solve problems as they arise
  • Eager to tackle new challenges
