User Experience Consultant

  • Location
    Cambridge, United Kingdom

As a User Experience specialist at TTP you’ll get to work on meaningful and diverse projects. That’s because breakthrough technology is vital for the future development of global healthcare. By joining this race to invent novel life-changing technologies and products, you’ll help define and develop new medical devices and digital experiences. And this will make a difference in healthcare systems whilst improving the lives of patients across the world.

At TTP, you’ll get the freedom to do your best work. From day one, you’ll take control of your career as you help to create prototypes and inventions.

You'll get to work on multiple projects concurrently and each one will bring fresh and interesting challenges. You'll get to translate complex new technologies into simple-to-use, patient-centric solutions.

With the help and support of multidisciplinary project teams, there will be opportunities to create wearable devices with connected ecosystems. You might also develop new surgical imaging systems to enhance a complex procedure. And every project will lean on your ability to empathise with the needs of the end-user.

It's about using your relentless curiosity to find and create viable solutions.

Every day you’ll get to explore and consider the needs, abilities, and behaviours of people at the centre of the product development process.

Your work could be pivotal to the success of new technologies, products, or services. That’s because you’ll define, design, and lead the product development usability studies. These will inform early concepts and ensure the safety of final designs.

Crucially, you'll be entrusted to translate insights and research into meaningful design directions. Through teamwork and communication, you’ll incorporate user considerations and ensure the optimum design trade-offs.

In short, this is a fantastically agile client-facing position beyond the realm of a traditional User Experience (UX) role.

Every step of the way, your professional development will be supported by an in-house career coach. At TTP, you’ll get to master and apply a broad range of skills in a diverse range of contexts. Your learning journey will never stop.

If you’re a User Experience Consultant with a track record of achievement and academic excellence, it’s likely your CV will appeal to the hiring team. It’s probable that you’ll have studied a degree in User Experience, Ergonomics, or Psychology.

Our in-depth interview process will explore how you communicate the value of your work and how you explain complex concepts in a simple way.

In your cover letter, it'd be great to hear about how you've applied your skills in User Experience, Ergonomics, or Human Factors to create something interesting, impactful, and different.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a collaborative, analytical, and structured approach to tackling complex technical challenges.
