TTP’s team will be speaking and co-exhibiting with Inmarsat at Xponential 2023.

AUVSI Xponential, the premier global event for unmanned systems and robotics, is set to take place at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver from May 8th to May 11th, 2023, under the theme of “Blueprint for Autonomy.”

Bringing together industry leaders, researchers, and professionals, Xponential 2023 offers a diverse program of session formats that delve into the design, operationalization, integration, and safeguarding of uncrewed and robotic technology. With a wide range of exhibitors, expert speakers, and interactive sessions, Xponential 2023 provides a unique platform for networking, learning, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the field of automation.

As one of Inmarsat’s partners, TTP is delivering core technology for low size, weight, power and cost (SWaP-C) satellite terminals for UAV comms. Additionally, TTP is also developing detect and avoid (DAA) sensing solutions for last minute tactical airspace deconfliction. Together these technologies will help make beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations a reality for drone operators.

Find out more about here: ttp.com/UAVs

Vidhya Sridhar, Head of Autonomous Technology will be speaking on Thursday 11 May, 12:55 – 13:20 , Room: 110/112 Session Number: XPO23-4719

Session title:

Is Detail and Avoid possible without weighing down drones with expensive sensors?

Description:

True Beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) will take off when technologies that make this possible come at an acceptable size, weight, power and cost (SWAP-C). The toughest technological challenge on the way to UAV autonomy is last resort tactical airspace deconfliction by means of onboard sensing, also known as Detect and Avoid (DAA).

Join us to discuss safety goal posts, what can be achieved with different sensors and data processing techniques, and whether we can meet the industry needs for SWAP-C and chart a course towards certification.

Andrew Fell, Senior Consultant in RF systems and electronics will be speaking on the panel for Multi-link Communications for BVLOS Operations, Tuesday, May 09, 2023, 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM in Room 201. Session Number:XPO23-EG14

Panel Moderator:

Anthony Spouncer, Senior Director – Advanced Air Mobility, Inmarsat

Panellists:

  • Andrew Fell, Consultant, TTP
  • Chase Lookofsky, Investment Manager, Supernal
  • Christopher Pape, Director, Special Projects, Volatus Aerospace Corp
  • Cyriel Kronenburg, VP International Development & Strategic Partnerships, UAVonix

Panel Description:

LTE, satcom, C-band & more – some have low latency, others have high throughput, but few have resilience. Why not have the best of all worlds? Come and discover how Inmarsat and its partners are combining communication solutions to provide the ultimate in multi-link capability that can provide low latency and high throughput, backed by an always-on highly resilient (and miniaturised!) satcom solution.
