Radar System Engineer

Description

Embark on an exciting journey with TTP as a Radar System Engineer in our Autonomous market team. Join a dynamic environment where innovation, creativity, and collaboration converge to shape the future of autonomy across industries such as uncrewed aircraft, autonomous cars, heavy industrial vehicles, and autonomous spacecrafts.

At TTP, we empower you to imagine, develop, and deliver advanced RF sensor technologies that redefine autonomy. Work alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team that encourages exploration of blue-sky systems and technologies. Leverage your existing skillsets to explore and develop new technologies.

In the Autonomous sector, you’ll tackle cutting-edge technologies, solving complex problems like designing radar sensors for reliable detect-and-avoid systems. Contribute to sensor fusion architectures while adhering to Size, Weight, Power, and Cost (SwaP-C) constraints for the growing UAV market. Opportunities extend beyond the Autonomous group, especially within Satellite & Space, where you can provide specialist RF support. This extends to other TTP market teams focused on industrial and medical applications.

TTP’s facilities offer variety, including a dedicated RF laboratory with an anechoic chamber, on-site micro-fabrication facilities, and general physics and materials laboratories.

Requirements

Your application will stand out if you have:

  • A Masters with some work experience, or a PhD in RF systems or a related subject
  • Experience of working on the design and development of a radar system
  • Hands on experience with RF circuitry design, test and measurement equipment
  • Knowledge of Radar systems and radar signal processing
  • Knowledge of simulation of RF system architectures for radar sensing
  • Knowledge of test and measurement equipment aiding in system design
  • Strong fundamentals of RF/microwave antenna systems
  • Hands-on experience with designing RF circuits and systems
