We’re after two Test and Development Engineers to play a crucial role in advancing our mission.  

Test & Development Engineer 

This is a great opportunity to join our Product Delivery team and play a key role in shaping the future of the Cellular Origins’ Constellation system. Working together with the wider multi-disciplinary product team of engineers and scientists, you’ll be instrumental in bringing our vision to life through development and rigorous testing.   

As a Test and Development Engineer you’ll be at the heart of product delivery, playing a crucial role in the testing and verification of our groundbreaking robotic automated manufacturing system for cell therapy manufacturing.  

Working together with our Senior Test and Development Engineers you’ll be involved in electro-mechanical device assembly, testing of prototype components and systems, and later assisting with the transfer to manufacture. Reliability testing will be a key part of the role to ensure our system withstands the rigors of real-world application, fortifying the robustness and longevity of our technology.

Requirements

  • A strong engineering background with a focus on Mechanical, Electronics gained either by degree or vocational route. 
  • Proven experience of testing and troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, preferably within a product development  
  • An appreciation of reliability testing methodologies, with the ability to follow and execute test plans to ensure product quality and performance. 
  • Robust technical analysis and documentation skills including generating Test Specifications, Test Protocols and Test Reports 
  • Familiarity working with appropriate software tools to run test scripts, process log files and database contents 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams and fast-paced environments.

There’ll be a couple of stages to your interview

There are two stages to our interview process for graduates, and one stage for interns. For both of those roles, there are usually a number of one-to-one interviews with our consultants. We focus on your technical abilities and consumer awareness and use our interviews to see how you’d fit into TTP.

We hold our interviews at TTP Campus in Melbourn

On the outskirts of Cambridge. The interview process is usually around a couple of hours and it’ll include technical problem-solving style questions.

We’ll cover expenses for your interview

Which includes cost of your return travel to the interview. If you need to stay overnight in Melbourn, let us know in advance and we can organise something.

After the interviews, you’ll hear back from us in a few days

It’ll normally take a few weeks to finish the interviews, but this can sometimes take a little longer depending on how busy we are.

If you fit the criteria, we can cover relocation costs up to £20,000

But before you start, we’ll discuss this together to see if you fit the criteria.
