Requirements

The essential requirements for this role are:

• A strong degree in a Science or Engineering discipline

• Ability to generate theoretical and empirical evidence.

• Insatiable curiosity. Whether it’s new technology, unfamiliar engineering principles or how a business makes money, you dig down to generate valuable insight

• Communication skills. You enjoy collaborating and presenting your work to others and explaining why it matters to them.

• Drive. You take on new responsibilities, seek challenging objectives, and pursue them with tenacity and pragmatism.

Candidates with greater experience will increasingly fulfil these additional requirements:

• Leadership. You build collaboration by engaging with the needs and perspectives of clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, enabling you to act in others’ interests, build confidence, and establish trust.

• Insight. You demonstrate technical and commercial insight and the ability to apply these to development decisions, and to uncovering commercial opportunities.

• Initiative. You seek out opportunities – whether technological, commercial, personal, or otherwise – and take action to make the most of them.

CAREER STAGES

Our roles are open to applicants at any career stage, from recent graduate, PhD and PostDoc to experienced professional.

There’ll be a couple of stages to your interview

There are two stages to our interview process for graduates, and one stage for interns. For both of those roles, there are usually a number of one-to-one interviews with our consultants. We focus on your technical abilities and consumer awareness and use our interviews to see how you’d fit into TTP.

We hold our interviews at TTP Campus in Melbourn

On the outskirts of Cambridge. The interview process is usually around a couple of hours and it’ll include technical problem-solving style questions.

We’ll cover expenses for your interview

Which includes cost of your return travel to the interview. If you need to stay overnight in Melbourn, let us know in advance and we can organise something.

After the interviews, you’ll hear back from us in a few days

It’ll normally take a few weeks to finish the interviews, but this can sometimes take a little longer depending on how busy we are.

If you fit the criteria, we can cover relocation costs up to £20,000

But before you start, we’ll discuss this together to see if you fit the criteria.
