TTP will be exhibiting at the IET International Satcoms Conference 2026, taking place on 15–16 June at IET London: Savoy Place.
Andy Walker, Head of Satellite and Space at TTP, will be speaking on Monday 15 June in a session titled “5G NTN in Military Communications – Friend or Foe?”
As 5G non-terrestrial networks create new possibilities for convergence between terrestrial and non-terrestrial communications, they are also raising important questions about the growing overlap between commercial and military applications, infrastructure and ecosystems.
Andy’s talk will explore how standards-based technologies can support resilience, interoperability and scalability, while recognising the security, transition and architectural challenges that shape military adoption.
Drawing on TTP’s experience in software-defined communications and advanced satellite systems, the session will consider how flexible architectures can help organisations invest today while preparing for more standards-aligned, mission-ready networks in the future.
Date: Monday 15 June 2026
Time: 12:00–12:30
Location: IET London: Savoy Place
Room: Turing Lecture Theatre
Event type: Exhibition and conference
If you are attending the conference and would like to discuss 5G NTN, resilient communications or software-defined satellite systems, book a meeting with TTP.
